Hui Neng Group

Founded in 2001, Huineng Group is recognized for its capabilities as an integrated upstream supplier of energy, with a portfolio of asset spanning from coal and electric thermal power to renewable energy. We are constantly working to provide reliable, affordable and ever-cleaner energy for the millions of people. To date, we have boasted a production capacity of 50 million tons of coal, 1.53 million kilowatts of electricity, and 1.6 billion cubic meters of synthetic natural gas (SNG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG). Additionally, ongoing construction includes capacities for 35.4 million tons/year of coal, 2.6 million tons/year of new materials, 1.32 million kilowatts of thermal power, 1.1 million kilowatts of PV, and 70,000 tons of alusil alloy. In 2023, we achieved an operating revenue of RMB 68.2 billion, a profit of RMB 20.2 billion and a tax contributed of RMB 13.6 billion. We ranked 240th among China’s top 500 private enterprises, 22nd among China’s top 50 coal enterprises, and 4th among the top 100 private enterprises in Inner Mongolia.

TECHNOLOGY R&D

Cooperate with the Coal Industry Planning and Design Research Institute
Carry out research on key industry issues such as ground pressure prevention and control, large-scale and harmless disposal of coal gangue, and analysis of the impact of coal mining on land and the ecological environment.

Collaborate with Professor Wei Cundi's team from Jilin University
The Huineng Coal-Based Solid Waste Research Institute and HuiNeng Silicon-Aluminum New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. were established to promote the implementation progress of the HuiNeng silicon-aluminum alloy industry project.

Strengthen cooperation with Tsinghua University and well known research institutes
Accelerate the experimental project of Professor Qian Weizhong's team at Tsinghua University, which leads the one step synthesis of olefin in the preparation of syngas.
